Piercings, Glasses and Clothes
Hey, I've had quite an eventful weekend this time around, some good things and some not so good things have happened. I'll start with the bad news in that there is a chance that I may have to get glasses for short-sightedness next weekend. At school I've been having trouble reading the board and I jokingly asked to borrow a friend's specs to see if it made things better. It did, and so this made me think that I'll be needing an eye test pretty soon. I've not had one in ages and it'll definitely give me piece of mind knowing that I can get the problem sorted. The only problem standing in my way is that a decent pair of glasses is probably about £200. We're just praying that I won't be needing any.In other news, I pierced my ear myself last night out of boredom, and it wasn't painful like I expected it to be, it bled a little bit but I used an earring of mine to pierce it and I'm a bit worried that it might get infected. Silly me. I've wanted to have two piercings on each ear for a while though, but for now it's two on my right ear, one on my left. I'm not saying piercing your own ears is a good thing, because it really isn't unless you know what you're doing. Don't do what I did, because I bet in a few day's time I'll be blogging about how I was really thick to pierce my own ear and now it's infected
My mum found out today and disapproves, but there's not an awful lot she can do about it now.I went out shopping today too and bought myself a hoodie for £15 at New Look. It's a size 14 and I got it in that size because all there seemed to be were size 6s and size 10s. I'm usually a size 8/10 in clothes anyway, but because it's a hoodie I wanted to get a couple of sizes larger than usual. It fits perfectly and I'm really chuffed. While queueing up at New Look I also spotted some really nice bangles so I had to get them too. £7 was a bit steep for eight bangles I guess, but I've been meaning to get some for a long time. I also got a new purse due to the fact my old one is really tatty and I've had it years. That was £4.50 from Claire's Accessories and has a cute little white bow on it
Sarah, my friend whom I went shopping with and I went to Starbucks and had a nice fatty Frappucchino and watched the world go by when a woman walked past with loads of carrot cake, and Sarah couldn't control herself and went 'Jesus Christ how much cake?!?!' but with a bit of luck the woman didn't hear. But seriously, it really makes you think where they put that much food...
This blog has been really random and jumbled up but I'm quite tired and might have an early night tonight. It's school photos tomorrow and I guess we all have to try and look our best. Yeah, right.
