Chinese
I went out to a chinese oriental buffet restaurant on Friday for my birthday with a couple of friends and had a great time, the place soon got filled up with other people filling their faces with food, that's for sure.We had a laugh anyway and were out in about an hour and a half (there's a time-limit on how long you can stay for, probably to stop people from coming in and eating everything.) We had a walk about for a bit and ended up sitting on the grass opposite a pub and chatting for a while until we got picked up. Sarah got me some makeup and a necklace and Sian got me some silver hoop earrings and a scarf. I'm really chuffed
Today and yesterday I've been spending my time painting a canvas for my Art coursework, which is on the Chinese culture, funnily enough. I chose the Chinese culture because I think the art is really interesting and colourful. It's finished now and is of a dragon, with a flowery background. It sounds a bit wierd having a big dragon with flowers in the background, but heh. It's taken me long enough to do so hopefully I'll get an okay grade for it.
In a somewhat unrelated topic, I've been having problems with my lower jaw recently, and I don't know what's causing it. I've looked it up on the internet and it seems to be a symptom of the Wisdom Teeth coming through. Joy. I'm a bit worried about it to be honest, because in our family we've had a bad history of teeth problems; Wistom teeth in particular. Heh.
Back to school on Tuesday afternoon too; everyone apart from the Year 7's go in in the afternoon, to let the new people settle in. It's a good idea, it lets us all have that one last lie-in before heading off to Hell. Year 11 should be an 'interesting' year for us anyway, lots of revision and coursework to complete
